Mount Diablo Community Child Care Advocates (MDCCCA) is a not-for-profit, state subsidized organization founded in 1976. Currently our agency serves 159 children in its programs. The organization was established by concerned leaders in response to the community's need for child care for preschool and school-age children throughout central Contra Costa County.
The agency works with a diverse population that includes: low-income families, families with children with disabilities, and families are referred by Child Protective Services. We also offer private preschool and school-age slots to higher-income families. Our program reflects the cultural, linguistic and ethnic diversity of our communities.
MDCCCA operates several early learning programs at Baldwin Park Center as well as a program for school age children (ages 5-8) and a part-time state preschool program for 3-4 year old children at the agency's Holbrook Center.
